How presets are made
Each stock starts from its real-world character: Portra's soft pastels, Velvia's punchy saturation, an expired roll's faded mask. We encode those traits as lift / gamma / gain curves, channel offsets, grain profiles and glow behavior, then verify them on sample photos across skin tones, skies and night scenes.
